Preceding his show on January 17, 2009 at Paradox, Tilburg Ian Parker will do a guitar workshop. This will start at 16.30 hrs in Paradox. Fee will be € 5,--

On Tuesday, July 15 2008 radio show LIVE ALIVE (www.live-alive.nl) will broadcast a special show with live recordings of Jesus Volt. This one hour special will be recorded on Monday, July 7 (20.00 hrs.) in Plug-Unit, Jan Tinbergenstraat 15 in Reeuwijk. Everyone is very welcome to join these recordings. Ian Parker is going to do an acoustic tour in Holland. The 10 day outing, which kicks off December 11, will mark his first acoustic tour. First tour dates are announced and more will follow shortly.

To promote their new live cd, which was recorded on March 15 in Estrado, Harderwijk Jesus Volt will come to Holland. Tour will start on October 17 till October 27, 2008. Live cd will be released in september 2008.

On March 15, 2008 the French blues/rock band Jesus Volt will record a live album in Estrado, Harderwijk. They have a big fan base in Holland and therefore the choice where to record was easy to make! Doors will open at 8 pm and show will start at 9 pm. The entrance fee will be € 9,--. Estrado also offers a special deal which is; dinner, entrance ticket and a meet & greet with the band after the show for a price of € 25,--. In October 2006 the unique concept United By Music had it’s first kick-off. The idea, originated from Joris van Wijngaarden of the ASVZ Group (national social circuit for people with an intellectual limitation) is simple. Give musical talent within the ASVZ Group the chance to perform for a big audience together with an American blues band, in the course of which quality is priority. American diva and professional blues singer Candy Kane was asked and she immediately was enthusiastic about the whole idea. After the big success end of October 2006 – a thirteen city tour through Holland singing with special needs kids – the idea popped up again to organize a new blues tour in 2008.
